this kid is 18, almost 19 years old and he’s a freshman. be warned, he’s really a weird one… like a little kid half the time. but he’s not hyper and crazy immature, oh no… he’s quiet and soft-spoke and really sweet. he’s all worn out like a doll that’s been played with too many times. he’s had a rough time of his life, this one, growing up as a foster child after his parents died. but he’s a good kid, smart and careful. he’s not really into boys or girls by the way… he’s not really emotionally mature enough yet. he’s studying music and English… he’s quite a writer.

Reed is one of Johnny's good friends. They seem to be quite close, very good friends. Although for some reason Reed doesn't really want to hang out with Johnny and me at the same time. It's kind of insulting almost, but I suppose I understand, since the boy seems to be quite shy. And well, since I'm the farthest thing from shy, I guess I might intimidate him or something. Or maybe he feels awkward with Johnny and me together, some people are like that. I don't mind, though.
I find Reed to be interesting. He's a bit strange, almost like he's refusing to grow up and get a life. Okay, that sounded mean. He does have a life, it just doesn't seem like one that an eighteen year old boy should have. He doesn't seem interested in relationships other than friends. Not that I really care all that much, but it's just a bit weird. It's like he's a little kid. Though I shouldn't be saying anything, because I barely know him. ” REED says“Bailey… Bailey Phoenix Winters. I rather like her name. It is a very nice combination of words, I must admit. I do not like it as much as I like Jonathon Anthony Valentine’s name, but her name certainly is nice. I do not know her very well. he is Jonathon Anthony Valentine’s girlfriend so I have met her on more then one occasion but I do not generally spend time with both of them together. It makes me uncomfortable. I believe I am slightly jealous of Bailey and the time she gets to spend with Jonathon Anthony Valentine, even though I have no legitimate claim to that time or attention. So it is not reasonable at all that I am jealous of her, but I am. Slightly.
Even though I do not know much about her and I do not see her very often, I do not mind her. Overall I am indifferent to her presence and her general existence though I believe, as I get to know more about her, I like her. She is quite out going and when she is around me she often talks to me in a manner that makes me uncomfortable. However she seems understanding and often lets me remain quite after a few questions. I appreciate this. She does not yell or shout at me or make me feel very unsafe, or expose me to things I would rather avoid so generally, I like her. There is nothing major that I dislike about her, but I do not know her very well. Perhaps there are several bits of relevant data that I have simply not come across yet. Regardless, as of now, I rather like her.”
